
Sandi Fikuart
Alexandria (Sandi) Fikuart was born in Scotland, but also lived, married and had a family in Southern Africa, experiencing many of the pivotal moments in the continent’s history. Like many writers she attributes her love of writing to a passion for reading from an early age.
Her short stories have been published in the UK and in South Africa. While in South Africa she researched and wrote bespoke scripts for an audio-visual production house. She studied Creative Writing in Florida, USA.
In 2006, she became a founder member of a small but successful Brighton writers’ group. Her latest work was shortlisted for the Legend Press/Luke Bitmead bursaryand longlisted in June 2015 for the Bath Novel award.
Sandi’s first novel The Fourth Chimurenga, the first in a series about an all-female special ops team, is currently out on submission to publishers.
