Sally Pearson
Sally grew up in Suffolk and studied Insurance, Law and Economics. She went on to pursue a career in commercial risk underwriting which she enjoyed although she would have preferred to spend her waking hours reading or writing.
While her children were growing up, Sally combined childcare with freelance writing for magazines before returning to life at the office. She worked as an insurance broker for a while before moving on to manage a local charity.
Sally is keen to try new hobbies and experiences although she draws the line at bungee jumping or cliff diving. Although not particularly athletic she is a keen skier and has found her way to the après-ski by way of many of Europe’s ski runs. She has an eclectic taste in music and theatre and is keen on amateur dramatics. As well as acting she has painted scenery, sold tickets and collected stage props.
Sally loves to travel and never ceases to be amazed at how similar human beings are to each other, no matter where and how they live. She lives on the Essex coast with her husband and enjoys windswept walks, and swimming in most kinds of weather.
Sally’s debut novel, The Dislocation of Hazel Epps, will soon be on submission to publishers.
