Laura Roggero
Laura Roggero was born in Luxembourg and raised in Belgium, before her family moved to France. She now lives in Auvergne with her husband.
Passionate about music, she started composing songs at fifteen. She worked for a few years as a musician, playing the guitar and keyboard, and doing backing vocals onstage.
After a degree in British and American literature and civilisation from the University of Auvergne, she worked as a primary school teacher for thirteen years.
Her first writing steps were made in French but, just like for her songs, the words came more naturally in English – a language for which she has a deep, boundless love. She wrote several short stories before launching herself into a novel.
Laura’s debut novel, Amnesia, a thriller set in the art world, is currently on submission to publishers.
