
Farheen Khan
Farheen B. Khan is a British, Dubai-based Writer. Described as a talker, reader, laugher and hoarder of shiny things, she has published articles for Business, Travel and Lifestyle magazines.
Farheen studied English Literature and has a BSc in Business Management from Kings College London. She spent the last fifteen years working in Banking where she led a number of high-profile projects across several locations. She has worked in over seventeen countries, earning the title of ‘Explorer’ from her thirteen year old nephew.
Farheen has completed several writing courses, including Novel writing at the Faber Academy under Tom Bromley, a Playwright course under Alex Broun at the Dubai International Writers’ centre and Contemporary British Fiction at Oxford University. She recently finished her debut novel Inside Out, a psychological thriller following the story of a widower who is stalked online. Her novel is currently being reviewed by publishers.
In early 2015, Farheen co-wrote and produced her first immersive play in the UAE entitled Eat Dubai. It explored cultural stereotyping and was well received, earning national press coverage on radio, television and in print (The National, Seven Days, Gulf News, The Stylist, DMTV, Dubai Eye Radio).
Farheen writes short stories, travel articles and is working on her second novel. She is a fan of book clubs, running marathons, hot yoga, discovering new foods and Harry Potter.
