Deborah Maxim
Deborah Maxim grew up in London in the 70s and was thrown out of a perfectly good Grammar school for being found in possession of an alternative attitude. Her life long involvement with the world of books began with a spell at Quartet and The Women’s Press and since then she has worked with a large number of different publishers over a period spanning four decades.
After spending some time in Africa she settled in Devon where she now lives on the edge of Dartmoor with her family and other anarchists.
Her life is an ongoing work of fiction, but Eating Alligator will be her debut novel.
